Chairman of The Board & President

Marcus Oor Wameyo works to strengthen AHO effort in improving the lives of children across Africa through improved health, education, and economic conditions. He brings over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector and community development capacity as well as from fulltime Christian ministry. He is a mission driven leader, strategist, executive coach, and leading innovative working to build impact driven partnerships.

Angela King is committed to advancing the vision of African Hope Outreach (AHO) by empowering communities and improving the well-being of children across the continent. With a strong background in community engagement, non-profit leadership, and faith-driven service, she brings valuable insight and compassion to the Board’s leadership team.

Desmond Owuor Adet

Chief Operations Officer

Desmond Owuor Adet is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Beyond The Pews For Life Africa, responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations are well-prepared to effectively execute the organization’s strategic plans. As a member of the Executive Team, Adet helps lead business transformation across the organization.

Silas Wandera Ojiambo

Silas Wandera Ojiambo is the President of Vision Media Africa. He is a community leader who has over 14 years in nonprofit work. He joined Beyond The Pews For Life Africa in 2020.

Ven. Paul Ochoo Obiero

Board Member & Treasurer

Ven. Paul Ochoo Obiero Board Member & Treasurer Rev. Paul Ochoo Obiero is a member of the Board of Directors at Beyond The Pews For Life Africa and has served as the treasurer since its inception. He also currently works as a Rector in the Anglican Church of Kenya.

Phylomena Chepkemboi Narotso

Phylomena Chepkemboi Narotso is the Director of the Young Mothers Community. She is one of the main community leaders and maintains an emphasis on community outreach. He joined Beyond The Pews For Life Africa in 2019.

Penina Abiba Wauye

Penina Abiba Wauye works to strengthen Beyond The Pews For Life Africa effort in improving the lives of children across Africa through improved health, education, and economic conditions. She is a mission driven leader, strategist, executive coach, and leading innovative working to build impact driven partnerships. She brings he brings with him a wealth of experience and insight. has devoted his career to ensuring that underserved children and widows have access to best practice interventions and cutting-edge solutions.

Lilian Auma Oor

Board Member

Lilian brings a compassionate heart and sharp strategic insight to AHO’s board. With a background in social services and education, she is deeply committed to advocating for vulnerable children and families. Her focus on community empowerment helps AHO design programs that are both sustainable and locally driven.

Doreen Aluoch Okumu

Board Member

Doreen is a community health champion with a strong track record in grassroots mobilization. She supports AHO’s mission by ensuring that health education, sanitation, and wellness initiatives reach underserved populations. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to holistic transformation in rural Kenya.

Kelvin Otieno Ochieng

Board Member

Kelvin contributes a background in finance and youth leadership to the board. Passionate about economic empowerment and educational access, he helps AHO build partnerships that expand opportunity for the next generation. He also mentors young leaders within the community.

George Henry Wauye

George is a respected community elder and advisor with years of experience in public service. At AHO, he provides cultural guidance and policy insight, helping align programs with local values and long-term development goals. His wisdom and integrity are a pillar of the organization’s governance.
